Sue Scheiber, Receptionist / Office Manager
Sue has been working at Huntington Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years. She enjoys greeting the clients and welcoming the pets. When she's not in the office, she spends her days with her husband and 3 sons or in her fishing boat.
Amber Carnahan, Receptionist
Amber is a resident of Fort Wayne. She has always been a lover of animals. She has a dog named Kratos - aka Toast. Amber has many pets in the past, including snakes and lizards. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her sister, Toast, and enjoys going to the shooting range. She started at Huntington Veterinary Hospital in March of 2017.
Mary Laurie, Receptionist
Mary was born and raised here in Huntington, IN. She attended Huntington Catholic High School. Mary started at Huntington Veterinary Hospital in July of 2017. She has 2 children and 1 grandchild. Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to relax and watch movies. She is a warm weather person who loves to garden. She has 4 pets that she loves, 3 cats and 1 dog.
Jamie Feller, Registered Veterinary Technician
Jamie has been working at Huntington Veterinary Hospital since she was in High School in 2014, as an assistant/kennel staff. She then went to college at International Business College Vet Tech Institute and is now an RVT. Jamie was born and raised here in Huntington. She has 3 dogs: Jaxie (Chi), JoJo (Shepherd Mix), and Sasha (Pit Bull). She is a board member of the Huntington County Humane Society and also a member of the Huntington County Animal Ordinance Committee. She enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing on the weekends.
Kabrina Boyd, Registered Veterinary Technician
Kabrina is a 2015 college graduate with an associates degree of applied science as a Vet Tech. She is married and has 2 children. Her hobbies are photography, horses, reading and being outside with her family. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats and a horse.
Kaydee Small, Veterinary Assistant
Kaydee is a graduate of Huntington North High School and she also attended IBC Vet Tech Institute. She started working at Huntington Veterinary Hospital in March of 2017 as an assistant. She has worked and lived with animals, both large and small, her whole life. She has a German Shepard named Max, and 6 loving kitties. She calls herself the crazy cat lady! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Kaydee is a board member of the Huntington County Humane Society, as well as a member of the Huntington County Animal Ordinance Committee. Her life goal is to make the world a better place for all animals.
Lenette Dobbins, Veterinary Assistant
Lenette is a graduate of Bentley Senior High School. She worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years in Shreveport, Louisiana before coming here to Huntington Veterinary Hospital in October of 2014. She has a love for animals, her dog Lucyfur, and cat Fedor. Lenette has been married for 20 years and has 2 boys and a grandson.
Melinda Baker, Registered Veterinary Techinician
Melinda was born and raised in Huntington, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with an Associate’s degree of Applied Science as a Veterinary Technician in 1978. She has been employed at Huntington Veterinary Hospital for 30 + years. Professionally she enjoys general feline care. In her spare time she enjoys photography, reading, and civil war reenacting.
Mindy Beekley, Veterinary Assistant
Mindy began working for Huntington Veterinary Hospital in 2010 and has previous experience in canine training. She was born and raised in Roanoke, IN. She is a board member of the Huntington County Humane Society as well as a member of Huntington County Animal Ordinance Committee. When she's not working she enjoys spending time with her family and pets and she loves the outdoors.

Tiffany Schortgen, Registered Veterinary Technician
Tiffany started with Huntington Veterinary Hospital part time 2002. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University in 2005 she took on a full time position with us. Tiffany has a special interest in Animal Behavior and Dermatology. She is married to Zach and has 3 children, a German Short-Hair Pointer named Remi, and a cat named Horton.
Zippy, Office Cat
Zippy joined the staff of Huntington Veterinary Hospital in June of 2004. She was an expectant mother with no place to go. She ended up having 3 kittens. We found homes for them and decided to make her one of us. Zippy enjoys being petted and loved on by staff as well as clients. She can be found lounging in front of entry and exit doors and sprawled on counter tops.
