Meet Our Team

Dr. William Scheiber

Staff Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Scheiber has been the owner of Huntingtin Veterinary Hospital since 1995 when he purchased it from the previous owner.

He was born and raised here in Huntington. It was around 7th grade that he knew that he wanted to get a job in the veterinary industry after he went to an appointment for his dog. After high school he completed 4 years of under grad, then 4 years of vet school at Purdue.

Dr. Scheiber loves to fix things, so he enjoys the challenges that come with complicated cases. He finds being able to diagnose a pet and educate the owners on the issues and how the treatment works to be greatly rewarding. He has a special interest in treating pets who have cardiac problems because their condition can be managed with medication if the condition is caught and treated early enough.

In his spare time, Dr. Scheiber enjoys the outdoors but especially enjoys spending family time at the lake swimming and boating.
